With a length of 130 mm and weighing 122 g, it is extremely compact and lightweight, making it ideal for confined spaces, e.g. often found in PCBs or precision equipment. Cutting edge hardness approx. 57 HRC it cuts soft wires up to Ø1.6 mm. The short pliers head offers strong leverage. This makes it perfect for power delivery on the cutting edges and controlling manual force. Due to its design, the electronics diagonal cutter 77 42 130 is only suitable for soft and medium-hard wires. As the cutting edges are not bevelled, flush cutting is possible.

Zero-backlash box joint for high cutting quality and service life

The Knipex 77 42 130 electronics diagonal cutter has a box joint. The inside of both pliers handles is guided. This prevents tilting. Rivets only undergo shearing stress. Result: higher-quality cutting operations, long service life. The tool is oil-hardened, while the cutting edges are induction-hardened to approx. 57 HRC.
