The KNIPEX StriX® is real all-rounder: It is both a conventional insulation stripper (with knurled screw and lock nut for manual and reliable adjustment of the conductor diameter), as well as a highly efficient cable cutter. As an insulation stripper, it is suitable for solid, multi-strand and fine-stranded conductors with plastic or rubber insulations up to a maximum diameter of 5 mm (approx. 10 mm² conductor cross section). The classic StriX® has undergone useful innovations: The stripping part features steps in the jaw that help when stripping constant lengths (11 mm or 16 mm). It also serves as a professional cable cutter: The cutting edge cuts copper and aluminium cables up to Ø 15 mm (5 x 2.5 mm² cable cross-section).
