The Knipex precision electronics diagonal cutter 79 42 125 Z ESD is a fine tool for cutting even the thinnest wires with surgical precision (from Ø0.1 mm). The Knipex 79 42 125 Z ESD is ideal for narrow assembly tolerances and precise configuration of wire ends. The edge hardness of approx. 64 HRC enables it to cut soft wire up to Ø1.3 mm – thanks to the excellent workmanship with superior precision. Since the cutting edges without bevel are ground, particularly precise flush cutting results can be achieved (cut perpendicular to the wire). It is 125 mm long and weighs just 58 g, making it very compact and 20% lighter than other electronics diagonal cutters. The ratio of handle length to pliers head size yields strong leverage. This allows cutting operations with minimal force. Due to its design, the Knipex 79 42 125 Z ESD is only suitable for soft wire.
