Muscle man with the clever bend
The Knipex 71 41 200 CoBolt compact bolt cutters with angled shape and recess in the blade.
The CoBolt 71 41 200 with the 20° angled pliers head has been designed for all jobs where you need to cut as close as possible to the surface below. Protruding nails, screws, wire or strands with diameters up to 6 mm can be cut flush thanks to its sophisticated design with joint bar on one side. This means it offers enough space for gripping even in confined work situations.
Small tool, big impact
Those used to working with standard bolt cutters will appreciate how user-friendly the CoBolt 71 41 200 is. Thanks to their practical size of 200 mm and low weight of less than 400 g, they are a powerful partner in demanding situations, such as when cutting ceiling hooks above head height. Even the hardest wire is no problem, and they master piano wire up to a diameter of 3.6 mm reliably.
This high cutting performance is the result of long-standing engineering experience. The precision cutting edges made of chrome-vanadium high performance steel are induction hardened and therefore guarantee the greatest cutting edge hardness. The particularly efficient lever action mechanism guarantees an extremely favourable lever ratio with simultaneously low friction. The CoBolt reinforces the hand force used to grip the handles 35 times over.
Recess for maximum cutting effect – particularly useful in drywall installation
A recess in the blade directly above the joint grips material tightly, ensuring it is always held in an ideal position, while the strong lever action of the CoBolt comes into its own completely from the very first grip. This makes it easier to shorten anchors on suspended ceilings, for example.
Knipex quality: the 71 41 200 CoBolt compact bolt cutters are manufactured in the Knipex factory in Wuppertal-Cronenberg using quality materials. As with the other models of pliers from the Knipex think tank, they stand for top quality and therefore - when used correctly - also for exceptional durability. Their ergonomic shape furthermore means they offer the best possible conditions for gentle and safe use.

The helper with the clever bend: also ideal for difficult tasks
Due to the 20° angled pliers head, the Knipex CoBolt 71 41 200 has been designed for everyday use and for particular uses: broken nails, screws or wire that protrude unattractively from ceilings or walls can be cut flush thanks to the design with joint bar on one side – with up to 60 mm of space for gripping.
The versatile compact bolt cutters are manufactured from high performance chrome vanadium steel hardened in multiple stages. Thanks to their first-class machining, they are extremely durable and almost indestructible if used properly.
Firm hold
The recess in the blade makes it easier to cut through larger diameters. The material to be cut is held in the ideal position.
Flush cutting
Compared to the straight models, the angled CoBolt permits materials to be cut flush – as with the entire series, using 35-fold manual force.
Powerful cutting
Thanks to the efficient joint design, the CoBolt cutters cut suspension wire and other hard materials through to piano wire up to a diameter of 3.6 mm.
Useful angle
The angled head of the CoBolt offers up to 60 mm of room for gripping, making it ideal for poorly accessible areas.
