KNIPEX TubiX® pipe cutter: quick and precise cutting of pipes made of copper, brass and stainless steel with only one hand
Cut pipes with ease: KNIPEX TubiX® pipe cutter – cuts pipes with a diameter of up to 35 mm and a wall thickness of 2 mm with extremely easy handling
With a length of 180 mm, the KNIPEX TubiX® pipe cutter makes the daily work routine much easier. Copper, brass and stainless steel pipes with a wall thickness of up to 2 millimetres and diameters from 6 to 35 millimetres (1/4"–1 3/8") can be cut easily using just one hand without much effort. This is achieved through the QuickLock single-handed quick adjustment which independently guides and locks the tool onto the pipe, then accurately positions the cutting wheel for different pipe diameters. This is how it works: Simply place the open TubiX® pipe cutter onto the pipe, then position and lock the cutting wheel on the workpiece using the QuickLock single-handed quick adjustment. The pipe is cut by turning the tool and the clearance to the cutting edge can be freely adjusted using the ergonomic feeding barrel.
Added value through clever details
A practical deburring tool is concealed in the head: It can be pushed out easily or completely removed if necessary. The cutting wheel on the TubiX® is made of high-grade ball-bearing steel, while the metal housing consists of lightweight and durable magnesium. The spring-loaded, needle-bearing cutting wheel is easy to exchange. A spare wheel is also located in the handle cap.

QuickLock on the pipe cutter: a genuine KNIPEX patent
The QuickLock single-hand quick adjustment (silver component with the black catch at the centre of the illustration) is the key component of the KNIPEX TubiX® pipe cutter. When the black catch is pressed, the component with the cutting wheel can be quickly and precisely adjusted to any pipe diameter and locks automatically when released. The cutting wheel is spring-loaded, made of high-grade ball-bearing steel and easy to exchange.

Efficient needle bearings mean less effort
High-quality needle bearings enable the cutting wheel and the four guide rolls to operate virtually without any disturbing friction during the cutting process: Stainless steel pipes in particular can be cut more easily.

Cutting wheel with practical quick change system
The cutting wheel is made of high-grade ball bearing steel and is therefore very robust. When it does need to be changed, however, it can simply be replaced with the spare wheel from the handle cap.

Clean work thanks to integrated deburring tool
A practical deburring tool is concealed in the housing of the KNIPEX TubiX® pipe cutter. It can be easily pushed out slightly for use or completely removed for cutting locations that are more difficult to access.

The new ease in pipe cutting
Simply proceed as follows: Position the opened KNIPEX TubiX® pipe cutter…

With only one hand
… push the cutting wheel against the pipe with the QuickLock single-handed quick adjustment (quick adjustment to different pipe diameters)…

Cut pipes in next to no time
… cut by turning and readjusting as necessary with the ergonomic blue feeding barrel…
