Pipe cutter for cutting thick-walled plastic and composite pipes with a diameter of 26 to 40 mm

Right-angled cut thanks to exact positioning and holding in place

When inserting a plastic or composite pipe, it is automatically positioned precisely at a 90° angle to the blade. The moving contact jaws centre and reliably hold the pipe. The cut through the pipe therefore takes place automatically at right angles to the pipe. The Knipex 90 25 40 model has only been designed for thick-walled pipes. The Knipex range has models 90 20 185 and 94 10 185 for thin-walled plastic pipes.

Little physical effort: cutting stroke by stroke in a ratchet action

A blade stroke is triggered every time the pipe cutter is pressed. The stepwise cutting takes place using a ratchet action. When cutting with the 90 25 40 pipe cutter, the blade made of hardened special tool steel penetrates further into the composite or plastic pipe being cut with every ratchet stroke. A pipe is cut in several steps, so that there is a very low amount of physical effort.

The Knipex 90 25 40 pipe cutter contains plenty of sophisticated technology. As a user, you will feel and see the direct benefits. The moving jaws adjust by themselves to thick-walled composite and plastic pipes of between 26 mm and 40 mm: one work step saved. The blade is replaceable: the value is maintained. The handles of the ratchet pipe cutter open by themselves thanks to the opening spring: this saves several hand movements. And the ratchet action described above divides work up into small steps: energy saved.
