Crimping is high-precision work, and frequent crimping can be strenuous. These facts led to the development of the Knipex PreciForce. The result: the ideal, hand-friendly amount of pressure is exerted with precision on press-fit and crimp connectors, end sleeves (ferrules), tubular cable lugs, blade terminals and butt connectors. Accurate strength in one tool. Each crimping task has its own model of the Knipex PreciForce: all with a light, compact design with toggle lever reinforcement of manual force and precision crimp profile.
Integral lock for accurately repeated crimping
With the Knipex PreciForce, the user can work freely because the pliers do the job of measuring manual force for him. The pliers are ideally set (calibrated) in the Knipex factory. The integral lock restricts the crimping pressure when the set upper limit has been achieved using hand pressure, enabling the user to concentrate completely on crimping. The integral lock can be released where necessary, and the pressure of the pliers can additionally be adjusted individually.
Accurately machined, durable crimp profiles
With the PreciForce series, every crimp application has its own version with specially machined crimp profile. One specialist pair of pliers, one application. Every profile only needs to perform one task, and so has a correspondingly simple and thus tough design. The pliers are manufactured from special high-grade chrome vanadium electric steel and are oil-hardened, therefore the Knipex PreciForce is a purchase that will last for a long time and for a special field of application.
