Crimping is high-precision work. Crimp profile and crimping pressure must be precisely matched to the connectors and cable used to create a connection that is permanently mechanically and electrically safe and secure.

With their light, compact design with toggle lever reinforcement of manual force and precision crimp profile, all pliers in the Knipex PreciForce range make work easier for the user, also with frequently repeated crimping. The result: the ideal, hand-friendly amount of pressure is exerted with precision on the cable lug or connector being connected to the cable.

Integral lock for accurate repeated crimping result: the pliers open automatically after each crimping operation

With the Knipex PreciForce, the user can work freely because the pliers do the job of measuring manual force for him. The pliers are ideally set (calibrated) to the crimping of cable lugs and connectors. The integral lock blocks premature opening of the pliers before the set upper limit has been achieved using hand pressure. The pliers open automatically as soon as the set pressure has been reached, enabling the user to concentrate completely on crimping. The integral lock can optionally be manually released, and the crimping pressure of the pliers can be adjusted if need be.

Accurately machined, durable crimp profiles

With the Knipex PreciForce range of pliers, every crimp application has its own version with specially machined crimp profile: one specialist pair of pliers, one application. The Knipex PreciForce is manufactured from special high-grade chrome vanadium electric steel and is oil-hardened. The Knipex PreciForce 97 52 33 is therefore a purchase that will last for a long time and for a very large field of application: they are suitable for crimping non-insulated crimp, tubular and compression cable lugs in accordance with DIN 46234 and DIN 46235, as well as non-insulated crimp, butt and press connectors in accordance with DIN 46341 and DIN 46267.
