A great deal of experience is required when crimping non-insulated, open plug connectors. Normally. The Knipex 97 52 14 crimping pliers enable professional, electrically safe connections even without prior experience. With these crimping pliers, the user intuitively does everything right. This is how it is done: three hand movements to produce a professional crimp connection
A plug connector is placed in a suitable crimping die. The lower handle is then pulled up first using two fingers, until both jaws are resting on the plug connector to be crimped, thereby fixing it in the crimp profile. The next step is to insert the stripped cable. This can be achieved very easily, quickly and precisely using the Knipex 97 59 14 locator available as an accessory. Crimping is carried out in the third step. Large cross-sections can also be crimped safely and conveniently thanks to the toggle lever transmission. All of these qualities are made to last, because the pliers are manufactured from high-grade chrome vanadium electric steel – according to Knipex quality criteria.
