The Knipex 97 52 09 crimping pliers make the normally demanding crimping of end sleeves (ferrules) simple, giving the user a tool that intuitively enables him to do everything right. Insulated and non-insulated end sleeves are crimped reliably to the conductors in the precision-machined crimp profiles, creating connections that are mechanically and electrically safe and secure. The ideal crimping pressure has already been set in the factory. The automatic integral lock which can be released where necessary ensures that the pliers only open once the set crimping pressure has been reached. The pre-set crimping pressure can be adjusted at any time.

30 % less effort required – the leverage principle is used twice here

Up to 30 % less effort required compared to conventional crimping pliers, made possible by applied physics. The ergonomically shaped handles on the Knipex 97 52 09 result in a long lever arm. The pliers are long enough for two-handed operation on large cable cross-sections. Special leverage is also integrated in the crimping pliers, so that even a low level of manual force gets to the end sleeves (ferrules) in a well reinforced and carefully measured way. The user can produce stable connections from conductors and end sleeves with little time and effort.

This is how it is done: three hand movements to produce a professional crimp connection

Three simple steps, one good result: an insulated or non-insulated end sleeve is inserted. The lower handle is pulled up using two fingers, until both jaws are resting on the plug connector to be crimped, thereby fixing it in the crimp profile. After inserting the stripped cable, crimping is carried out. Accurately and securely.
