Carbon Footprint
These symbols indicate environmental performance indicators for each pair of pliers. The carbon footprint (PCF) indicates how much CO₂ is generated during the manufacture of the pliers. The PCF is calculated using the cradle-to-gate approach, which considers the life cycle of the pliers from raw material extraction to leaving our factory, with a focus on the manufacturing phase. This allows us to systematically evaluate the CO₂ emissions of a pair of pliers and identify opportunities for improvement in design, materials and production. A high recycling rate saves resources and supports the circular economy. Steel can be recycled indefinitely without any loss of quality. By using recycled steel, we improve the environmental performance of our pliers.
- High transmission ratio for easy cutting
- Requires 50 % less effort compared with conventional combination pliers due to optimised transmission ratio
- Solid construction for heaviest strain; universally applicable
- Ergonomically optimised handle shape for firm contact to the hand and fatigue reducing operation
- Particularly effective cross-hatched knurled gripping zone in the jaws - for strong gripping and pulling
- Additional gripping zone below the joint for powerful leverage and pressing performance
- With cutting edges for soft and hard wire
- Cutting edges additionally induction-hardened, cutting edge hardness approx. 62 HRC
- American style
