1. The question of material

2. The question of length
A pair of combination pliers is a classic tool - and hardly any aspect is as important when purchasing as the question: “Do the pliers lie comfortably in your hand?” Those with smaller palms and fingers are well advised to use pliers in the shorter range of the common 160 to 220 millimeter pliers length.
