The Flat Round Pliers with cutting edge

"Flat round pliers with cutting edge" is the official designation in standards. Their function is similar to that of the combination pliers, only they are much slimmer in form: the head with the gripping jaws is much longer and narrower.

The longer version (200 mm) is also called "Stork Beak Pliers", the shorter (up to 160 mm) is called "Radio Pliers".

They too can be used for gripping and cutting. The slim, half round internally-serrated gripping jaws can access narrow and awkward spots easily. The very precisely worked tips grip even the thinnest parts tightly and securely.

To ensure that the jaws on this pair of pliers are resistant to breaking and rotating in spite of their slim dimensions, it is particularly important to choose high-quality materials to manufacture this pair of pliers and to harden them carefully.
